We are observing the children becoming more comfortable in the water with their swimming skills. They enjoyed using the swimming equipment and practicing their swimming skills during today's swimming class.

We read a book about the life cycle of a butterfly and learned and discussed information/facts about a butterfly's body. Did you know a butterfly uses its antennae to smell and its feet to taste? A butterfly's tongue is called a proboscis and works like a straw.
After reading the story, we modeled how children were going to create their own edible butterfly for snack!
THURSDAY~TECHNOLOGY
Pre-K "A" worked on the laptops in our classroom, doing activities to practice and strengthen our math and language skills using abcya.com.
Pre-K B visited the computer lab and worked on the desktop computers.
