TUESDAY 9/3/13~
Pre-K "B" visited the swimming pool and the locker rooms and met the swimming teacher, Mr. Yakscoe. Next week, Pre-K "A" will do this visit.

THURSDAY 9/5/13~COOKING
For our first cooking class, the children made individual vegetable pizzas. They spread a cream cheese mixture on the crust and then chose and chopped up vegetables for their pizzas. We read the story, Pete's a Pizza and discussed the different types of pizza you could make and what toppings everyone likes on their pizza.
FRIDAY 9-6-13~TECHNOLOGY
Pre-K "A" visited the computer lab today and did KidPix.
Pre-K B explored the SMARTboard. We discussed how to properly touch and use the SMARTboard and how to keep it safe. We got to experiment with the different color 'magic' pens and draw our favorite shapes on the board. We also played a rhyming game on the SMARTboard!
