WEEK OF 9/23-9/26

MONDAY~COOKING- We read a story, Duck Soup, and then we made PIZZA!  This is the third type of pizza we have made in cooking!  Ask me if I remember what the other two types were!  On our pizza this time, we had the choice of just cheese, turkey pepperoni, and/or mushrooms!  It was very yummy!

TUESDAY~TECHNOLOGY

Pre-K "A" was ready to do some phonics/language activities on the SMARTboard.  Unfortunately, the SMARTboard was not being very smart (It wasn't working!!!).  So, we played a rhyming game.  Our SMARTboard has been fixed.  We will use it again soon!
Pre-K B visited the computer lab and we worked with KidPix!  We had fun printing our own creations! 

WEDNESDAY~NO EDP  (EARLY RELEASE DAY)

THURSDAY~DISCOVERY
We read a story about bubbles, called Pop!  Next, the children were able to experiment blowing bubbles by dipping a straw into a cup of bubble solution and then putting the straw onto the table where the surface was also covered with bubble solution.  Next, they blew through the straw.   There were many squeals and giggles with this experiment!
