After reading the story, The Naughty Monkeys, we make monkey bread! The children helped mix a bag of cinnamon and sugar, cut biscuits and shake them in the sugar cinnamon mixture, and drizzle butter and brown sugar over them. These were a BIG hit at snack time!
TUESDAY~TECHNOLOGY
Pre-K "A" went to the computer lab and did RAZkids, KidPix, and ABC Mouse. Pre-K "B' explored the program Photo Booth as we are working on a class project to turn ourselves into aliens!
WEDNESDAY~ART
THURSDAY~DISCOVERY We watched a video on the SMARTboard about hibernation and migration. We then made Frozen Fruit Rings for the animals outside. We practiced our fine motor skills with cutting different types of fruit and then we put all the fruit into a bunt-pan and we added water to the fruit mixture and froze it. Once completely frozen, we will put the fruit rings outside for the animals to enjoy!
