We did a language game and a math game today. In the language game, we played a version of "Hangman" using "Mr. Potato Head". In the math game, children were asked to identify and circle numbers on a large chart with numbers 1 through 100.
TUESDAY~TECHNOLOGY
We played Rush Hour on the I-Pads. This is a great game of strategy and problem-solving! We also designed pictures within KidPix at the computer lab!
WEDNESDAY~ART
THURSDAY~COOKING We made an 'easy strawberry cobbler'! Why was it so easy? Well, the only ingredients we used were frozen strawberries, white cake mix (powder part only) and a can of 7-Up! We layered the 3 ingredients, NO MIXING NECESSARY, and we baked it! That's it! It was delicious!
FRIDAY~SWIMMING
Today we enjoyed a "Beach Day" in swimming class, which means we get to have (safe) "free time" in the pool! Pre-K "A" and Pre-K "B" swam together which made it even more fun!
